The Journey Ahead
1) Kernel Foundation NEURON microkernel, capability-based IPC, process isolation. Prove the security model works. Show services can communicate safely.
2) Core Services & Persistence Service manager, bundle manager, policy engine, virtual filesystem, durable storage. The invisible foundation that makes everything else possible.
3) Secure Device Platform Boot flow, lifecycle control, policy enforcement, update paths, and the system services needed for managed devices. The pieces that make controlled deployments credible.
4) First Deployments Industrial HMIs, kiosks, public-sector endpoints, and specialized connected systems. Start where security, auditability, and hardware control are immediate differentiators.
5) UI Foundation + Developer Experience Window manager, compositor, basic rendering, SystemUI, and the tooling needed to build on top. Create a usable platform that can expand without losing coherence.
6) System Modules Media, audio, input, display, networking, sensors, power management. The services users expect—delivered the open way.
7) Graphics & Performance NexusGfx SDK, GPU drivers, performance monitoring. Not hype—just solid speed, stability, and insight.
8) Broader Device Classes Expand from focused deployments toward laptops, mobile, and wider ecosystems as the architecture and partner base mature. One OS. Many Devices. Built in the right order.
9) Enterprise & Advanced Device management, compliance, distributed systems (DSoftBus), ML acceleration. For organizations that will trust this platform at scale.
